Rub -a-dub dub….A pug in a tub!.....He is clean, yet will take some time to dry!!...And right now, Fredo probably smells like a wet wool sweater….WET PUGS are so much fun to play with outside!!  And when he dries…..OH SO SOFT….ENJOY THE SHEDDING!.....

Least you could do is put a rubber ducky in my tub!  Oh and by the way, when I get you, you’re gonna get wet too!  In fact, you may get more wet than me!  BOL!  (You are adorable!)

Why O why did you do this to me.  I been a good boy, I smell fine to me.

This picture is so cute and great comment Carolyn.  Fredo looks as if he is saying that, doesn’t he.

This reminds me of a pug I know who REALLY needs a bath but not because of anything she did but because her little sister (yes, sister) keeps marking her when they are outside.  It seems Georgie has taught Gracie the fine art of marking and Abby is the victim.

LOVE your comment Carolyn!! smile
Fredo seems like he is wondering what did I do to deserve a bath? wink
And Robin Anne I agree with you TOTALLY. smile
Pugs ears feel like velvet to me.
Pug hugs and kisses for you Fredo from Georgia.

Fredo is my puggy!  He is such a good boy, but really only gets a at-home bath when the weather is warmer, so he can towel dry and sit outside to be brushed.  Shedding galore, watch out!  He has a double coat, so there are white puffs of fur flying everywhere.  Pug love in return…like nothing else.  smile

Oh!  FREDO, my good fellow.  You don’t appear to be in your Happy Place right now.  But once you’re airing dry in the sunshine and everyone tells you how sleek you look and how sweet you smell, you’ll be feelin’ “Glad All Over” (Paul Revere & the Raiders . .  circa 1965)
You’re total cuteness.

Mom, if you take a picture of me now and send it to OBP, I just know they will feel sorry for the mean thing you are doing to me…giving me a bath.

Fredo, you are a cutie.

Oh Lorraine, you have such an adorable boy!  He looks like he’s trying to be so good for you even though he obviously isn’t keen on his bath!

Please give Fredo lots of kisses from all of us ♥

Fredo thanks you for your comments & compliments.  He is a very good boy, and is always agreeable to bath, ear cleaning, etc.  Just doesn’t do his pedicure to well, but I don’t tamper with those toes.

Hello Fredo,
What a darling little boy.  I know you Mama isn’t far away and will get you out very soon.  Never fear, Mom is near.
Speaking of shedding, my little Cooper has so much hair that I cannot find the skin to put his Advantix on him.
Is there any secret to help avoid shedding?
Sending Pug Hugs and much love to Fredo from Mini Anderson Cooper and Elizabeth in NY~

Hi there Elizabeth!  I do not know of any secret to avoid shedding…..I do not have a puggy right now, but when I did, I would take them….put them over my lap when I was seated in a chair, and VACUUM them.  Some of them really liked this…and the amount of fur that was taken off them….after the bath and brushing was nothing short of AMAZING!....My puggies LOVED being clean and so soft….they did however, did not tolerate baths well…I was as wet as they were…too much fun!!

Oh, and Carolyn, loved your comment!

Dear Fredo,

I bet you smell wonderful now!  I can just imagine your soft sweet coat. It does take pain to be beautiful.
(I have a collie/shepherd cross… I take her to a self serve doggie wash and use the dryer to blow away most of the undercoat.  She doesn’t like the procedure, but sure gets frisky afterwards.. as frisky as a 14 year old doggie can get)
Hugs from Saskatchewan, Canada
