“Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl/with yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there/she would meringue & do the cha cha/” -Barry Manilow.  I just couldn’t help myself!

But I do think this Lola is even better!

BTW Sue VDB, I have a bone to pick with you.  You need to move.  All week, for some reason, I have had “Everything’s up-to-date in Kansas City” stuck in my head and I can’t get rid of it.  Of coourse you are at fault!  ;-*

I am curious.  What causes a pug to have their tongue hang out like this?  Is it genes or did something happen to her?

Where in the world does a pug come by a tongue such as that?!?  My pug, Dolly, and the other pugs I’ve seen have a tongue kind’a like their tail…curled up!
Great photo and a beautiful pug!

Lola - you do have a wonderful tongue [all the better to lick you with] My first rescue - Fudge and another rescue - Miz Ziller, both had/have the same tongue - something to having been kicked in the throat as babies. Oh golly do we love them, being winter and having had 6” of snow, the ‘Lonehill 6’ are very happy inside with Ma in front of the fire. They do venture out with Dad when he goes out in the Subaru, to check on our friends [we have given them 2 acres to make a new home] They must be mad!!!! -7 and they are camping!!!!! Did send 4 extra duvets down yesterday. Haz lives on the ‘Ice Shelf’ on the top end of Scotland - so he thinks the weather is great!!! Bloody fool, at least we have got him out of his kilt!!!!!!!!
Pug hugs and kisses

Is this why Lola is so thin?  with her tongue it makes it hard for her to eat?
