Lulu & Sophie

Lulu & Sophie

Robin Anne Erbland

“Well”, said Lulu and Sophie,“There may be a great depression going on right now, but since we don’t have to work, we may as well enjoy life to its fullest!”  And that is exactly what they did!....They lay poolside, stretched out on a recliner, basking in the warmth of the suns rays and when it became too warm,...well, there was always a nearby pool to jump into and cool themselves in!
Lulu and Sophie had done very well for themselves over the years.. they had carefully mastered the art of endearing themselves to their humans…and in turn, there was nothing their humans would not do for them…Lulu and Sophie had closetsful of outfits…their bowls were always full with warm food and ON TIME…. and there were plenty of treats to be had when one got a bit hungry…not to mention that walkies in this upper crust neighborhood afforded Lulu and Sophie a chance to prance and dance their furry little bodies around ...Yes indeed, Lulu and Sophie had it ALL!!!

It’s hard to to top Robin’s story.  These two cuties certainly look to be in the lap of luxury. Lulu’s expression is priceless and I love how Sophie is stretched out.

Robin, your stories are always so good and fun to read.  I would have said this was a pug choo-choo train on their way to the roundhouse.

How about that Gina - Lulu and Sophie.  (Gina’s girls names are Lucy and Sophie.)

These two girls are so cute!

Huckle~ A choo choo train is the first thing I thought of too! We think a lot alike! And of course, their names are perfect! I have a Lucy (who we often call Lulu) and a Sophie too! Perfect!

I agree,  Robin your stories are hard to top.  I enjoy reading them.

Lulu and Sophie, I would love to be sitting where you are and enjoying you as much as you are enjoying the sunshine.

Once upon a time, there were two’fairy pugs’  and they really had a wicked step mother who was a Boxer [a bit like Huckle’s Cooper - when he was giving Huckle a bad time, minutes, hours, days and weeks]
Now, as in the ‘tail’’ - Lulu & Sophie decided that escape was the only answer, they had heard about OBP and all their loving parents and decided that they would run away from their horrible step-mother and fund refuge with an OBP’er!!!
So off they went and found a wonderful family, where treats were daily, comfortable chairs and lots of love = their only commnt was “Boo” - to the wicked step mother, ‘cos now they have found their real mother, and all that surrounds them is LOVE!!!
Pug hugs and lots of love to those two furry [fairy] puglets

life is a bit of a frantic at the moment as Oki’s [2nd?] cousin died on Tuesday - he was the 11th Duke of Athol [Blair Castle - largest private army in the world] , so now we have Prince Charles and Camilla, the British Prime Minister and many other ‘Peers of the Realm’ decending on us for the Friday Funeral . John Murray was such a loving gentleman, who never took his ‘Peerage’ as a decision, he actually refused to take over - but Queen Elizabeth talked him into it. I have decided that I will call Prince Charles - Charlie, and his wife - Camilla - Cami and invite them over for supper after the funeral!! Will keep all of you updated
LoL
GG & and her 6 PUGS - I know he loves dogs, perhaps the next ‘Royal’ dogs will be PUGS rather than Corgies

What a sweet picture of two beautiful sisters!  Enjoy the sunshine, you too!

Grannygoogs,  so sorry about your Oki’s cousin.  That would really be something if you could get Prince Charles and Camilla to come over for supper, though!  And go home with a pug!

GG, my condolences on Oki’s cousin.  I’m anxious to hear if Charlie and Cami accept your invitation.

What a sweet picture of two lovely puggie girls. I am looking to have Proto adopted he is a small black male pug age 2. His older brothers delight in hurting him and he is such a sweet little guy he doesn’t defend himself. He lives in Rio Rancho, NM with my daughter. Does anyone know if there is a pug rescue in or near that city? Mr.Proto Puggers is a sweet little guy. Pug hugs to all from the Colorado 3

Hi their pug lovers, Took all 6 to John’s funeral, Pugs were a huge success, both Charlie and Cami were enthralled by the 6 children, and wanted to take them home, advised them look for Pug Rescue in Britain. However, i “found” some babies and they were flown First Class [naturally] 10 days ago. Charlie was ecstatic and has named them debz and oki!!! He has invited us to High Grove [his country estate] the next time we go over to the UK.

Am sure that they really enjoyed the “Joie de Vive” of the 6, playing and chasing each other, as well as how they ‘groom’ each other! as well as their total obedience, YES - very unusual, I think they picked up the vibe that they were under the eye of Royalty. Charlie told me that when he becomes King, he will make Pugs the Royal Dogs - so no more Corgi’s

Not a happy marriage, so sad especially when I am so happily married.-however they both adore animals so I do not have any worries!!

Love and pug hugs from a slowly better health.
