Oh Marley getting wet is great if you need to cool off!! On you it looks great..Period!!

I could not get on yesterday…was getting a “wrong IP”.

The day before I was cleaning out my storage area and there was a bag I did not remember. When I opened it was the bag from the ve with GiGi’s harness and collar. Tears came most of yesterday and still today. Forgie an old woman…I I miss my baby.
Would have helped if I stillhad Peanut sleeping on a blanket in my room Wrapped it up nice and put it away. Will never be a pug like her again in my life.

Hellen, my heart aches for you.  Losing GiGi and Peanut getting lost so close together has to be terribly hard on you.  You do not need to apologize for missing GiGi, and if it helps, you can talk to us anytime.  I know I speak for everyone on OBP, we are here for you.

OK, you’ve been swimming.  I can tell it in your coat.  And that is your rock collection? You look like you’ve been having a good day at the beach.  So cute.

Hellen, those surprises are gut wrenching.  I am so sorry.  Of course you miss Gigi and it probably washes a new over all sorts of her behavior.  No there will never be another Gigi but your heart will wrap around the new one when she comes home.

To Ms. Norton,  I feel for you We lost “Daisey” last August of 2010.  She wasn’t a pug but we had her for slightly more than 10 years.  Then “Dolly” came to us to be rescued. She helps fill the void because we loved Daisey dearly.  Now we have a beautiful 2-3 yr old pug that needed saving that we can love.  She loves us right back.  She showed up at the back door one Saturday afternoon, a couple months ago with an embedded collar with bare wire holding it together.  It was horrible and the stench was just as bad.  She is doing wonderfully now and is also just recovered from a moderately severe case of pancreatitis.  Hope that’s spelled right.  Very expensive, high maintenance dog so far, but worth every cent.
I hope Ms. Norton that you can find another worthy animal to share your love with soon.
As for Marley, she looks mad to me, like Dolly does after a bath.
If I ever figure out how I’ll try to send a photo of our Dolly.

Steve, what a happy ending to a sad story.  St. Francis sent Dolly to you to be loved forever.  Yes, sometimes they are high maintenance, but oh they are so worth it…look what you receive in return. Thank you for sharing.

Marley - love the ‘wet look’ [very fashionable!!] But make sure you get well and truly dried, don’t need you getting a chill.!!!!
Steve - you were blessed the day Dolly came to you. Once you have her sorted medically, you will find just by giving lots of love and treats, she’ll become ‘low maintenance’ I have 6, so I know, just give lots of cuddles and kisses and she will be fine.
Hey you guys have had a torrid week, My son’s step mother [like a sister to me - she was wife #2 [he is on #6] has cancer of the spine and the liver, me - on new therapy in order to put on wight so that I can undergo an anesthetic so they can shove a camera down my throat and do biopsies of my colon and my ulcer and the today my mother-in=law [87] had a mild stroke!!
Hopefully next week will be better
LoL
Pug hugs and kisses
