Mo, Louise, and Harry were three dutiful pugs, who together shared a home with their humans. They were as close as three pugs could possibly be. They shared everything together; a soft warm bed that they would tumble into after a day of play, all kinds of treats, and walkies, why, they even shared meals…meaning of course, that if one was less hungry and another more hungry…all they had to do was dip into their comrades bowl for a bit of extra food.
One very early morning, Mo woke up to the smell of something absolutely delicious. He became alert almost immediately, and immediately jostled Louise, to his left. “Louise, wake up Harry…somethings cooking, It must be for us! Louise came out of her deep slumber almost immediately and started jostling Harry to her left, but Harry was in the deepest slumber of all and did not want to wake. (Truth is, Harry was dreaming about Thanksgiving and the bits and pieces that normally came his way…...
Now, Mo, who was a leader in his own right, watched as his human carefully removed bowls, and jars and spices from the cabinets. As was his experience, Mo knew that this generally amounted to some work, but in the long run, a good smell would emerge from the oven…He had taught Louise to be on the lookout for these things as well. Of course, at this moment in time, it must be acknowledged that Mo was forever hungry and never turned his nose away from any morsel of food that came his way.
As they watched the movements of their humans, Mo and Louise snuffled, snorted and grunted over what it might be that was being concocted…..After a short while, the oven door opened, then slammed and their human walked over to their basket.
Well, “Good Morning my three soft sleepyheads”, they were greeted, and tails began to wag!
But they stayed in their basket, each gathering warmth from their fellow pug next to them, and smelling the good smells….
Eventually their human came back to the oven and pulled out something from inside…“Oh, how beautiful my pies are!” she exclaimed! And just in time for Thankgiving…. Well at the mention of Thanksgiving Harry arose from his slumber and began twirling around as did Louise and Mo!
A favorite time of year was shortly to begin, and all puggies were frantic over Thanskgiving and the bounty it brought them!

Mo seems to be the only one ready for action. I bet he wore out Louise and Harry…very cute picture.
