What a beautiful Fall Photo.
Nepolitan is gorgeous. Wish he and our Buddy
could have a play day in the falling leaves.

Aww this is our baby Napoleon in his back to school pose.  We had his pictures done at PetSmart one year.  The hurumph look is because he had to sit and stop trying to lick the lady doing the photos.  He didn’t like her stinky treats but he loooooved her.  He hasn’t changed much just a little more grey on his chin and still loving the ladies.

Napoleon, did you know that Napoleon Bonaparte had a PUG, and this PUG saved his life, Napoleon was on a campaign, and was bivouked out in the country towards Russia, Pug awoke hearing his human’s enemy approaching, and started to bark!! giving both Napoleon and his Army time to repel the enemy attack!!. You are truly blessed by your name!! And you must learn ‘de francee, we, we we, j’teime!!

Thank you Grannygoogs for sharing some very interesting history! The Pug certainly has an long and storied life of the pug throughout history.  I do remember reading about Josephine and Napoleon passing messages in the pugs collar and that she refused to sleep without her pug.  Such clever little cuties, can’t imagine our lives without them.
