Ears flying in the breeze, tail unfurled, Skippy raced through the grass as he had laid eyes on a mountain of milk bones…..............
As he raced through the grass, the mountain of milk bones only appeared bigger and bigger. Skippy gave a quick glance around to see if he had any “competitors.” Not noticing any, Skippy picked up speed…...he could hardly believe his good fortune…...“a mountain of milk bones” he said to himself…...“and all for me!”
LOL Robin, love it.
Skippy you certainly seem to be one fun loving cutie. You even have a fun name. I hope whomever you own tells us more about you.
Love the ear action.
Good one, Robin.
Home for lunch. Skippy
Hi Skippy! You are a cutie! A very happy pup! I had a rough weekend folks. My 13 year old Golden, Opie, crossed the rainbow bridge. Our little Pug, Coco, was looking for him all weekend. It was very sad. They loved each other and were best buds. Why do their little lives have to be so short? Rest in Peace my little one.
Hi Jill: So sorry for you and Coco about the loss of your Opie…...Sending you hugs,Robin
Upon reaching the mountain of milk bones, Skippy gave one last leap…and dove head first in the giant mountain. He was so delighted…...so excited…...so thrilled to have this precious mountain all to himself that really, he didn’t know just what to do first! “Do I begin enjoying my first tasty milk bone…..or should I frantically begin to dig holes and bury them throughout the yard?” Skippy asked himself. After all, this was a once in a lifetime “stash”....and if properly “treasured”......and with a little “resistance”, Skippy knew he could be enjoying this mountain of milk bones for years to come… Well, alright….“days to come”- since we all know puggies and their love of treats….....
Skippy your just skipping along aren’t you!
When Skippy reached the Bone Mountain at last he jumped right in and started from the inside out of the pile!!!! When he was almost out from under the pile it started to grown again. ONE REALLY HAPPY PUGIE!
Jill so sorry for your lose….it never gets easier when our babies go to play at the Rainbow Bridge having a great time. When we join them what a great time we will have!!
Helen-love your collaboration!
Jill, focus on the good times with Opie, and give extra hugs to Coco. Somehow we all get through these heartbreaks, and you and Coco will too.
Please stay in touch.
Run Skippy Run. What a cute pug.
Skippy, what a happy, peppy puppy you are!
Jill, so very sorry for your loss- hugs to you and Coco.
Jill, I’m sorry, from the heart.
Skippy,
What is left to say? I love Robin’s Milkbone fantasy for you, and I imagine you would know Just what to do with all those mounains of Milkbones. ;
Jill, Big Warm Hugs to you and Coco. You two will be together while you miss sweet Opie together. This too shall pass…Love…
Pug Hugs and Much Love,
Elizabeth
Thank you for all the nice comments! We just rescued Skippy about 3 months ago and we love him so much. Our pug Tank is so excited to have a new brother! Skippy just turned 3 and is still in his goofy, puppy phase. He loves to follow his brother around and wrestle with him.
Dear Jill - my condolances- feel better, knowing what a wonderful life Opie had with you all and when the time comes you will be reunited
