Henry had a blast the other day playing tug with one of the throw rugs in the house. A few years ago, he received on of those "rippable" toys that velcro together. His was a beach ball and the ball was divided into four or five slices. When all the slices were velcroed together it formed a beach ball. Henry loved tearing the ball apart and then playing with each of the individual slices. All that remains of the beach ball now is one lone slice. Henry was playing with it the other day and it velcroed itself to the rug and he had a good old time trying to get the slice unstuck.
He shook, he pulled, he gnawed. He had more fun with the slice stuck to the rug then he had ever had with the beach ball itself.

Well, today, Hank, reading the paper, walks with pugs, errands, football, work & another pug walk. Roughly in that order. Sound good?

This week's flashback: A Walk in the Park
It is supposed to get a little cooler around here this weekend. I would love for it to cool down enough to be able to take the dogs for a nice long walk at the park.

I was very happy this morning when I saw that the 2010 calendars have shipped from the printer and are on their way to my door. I didn't want to keep everyone in suspense any longer so I decided to post images of the calendar pages and to make them available for preorder.
Notification emails will go out early next week when the calendars arrive, so don't worry, if you haven't heard anything from me it doesn't mean that one of your pictures isn't included in the calendar.
Shipping will be free for US addresses for the month of October and if you are still interested in the 2009 Calendars we have a few of those left that are now priced at $5.

I've seen those looks before. Guilty & Guilty. Of what, I'm not sure yet, but I will find out...eventually.
It's funny, even though all the pugs get along great, the boys have a much stronger bond than say Luna & Henry or Benny & Luna or Henry & Sol or Benny & Sol, etc. (Geez, if I keep getting more pugs the permutations will be endless). I guess there is something about chewing wicker toy bins together & eating the underside of the kitchen chairs together that really bring you close when you are a pup.
