2011 Owned by Pugs Calendar

I am having some technical difficulties this morning that makes getting a new picture up a bit of a challenge, so I thought this would be a good time to update everyone on the 2011 Owned by Pugs Calendar.

Calendars are now shipping and as November wrapped up, I did a quick tally and I am happy to report that so far a total of $605 has been raised for the participating pug rescue organizations. The $605 will be divided amongst each of the participating pug rescue organizations based on the rescue group selected when a calendar sale was made.

Thank you for all your support and kind words about the calendar. I hope you enjoy it throughout 2011!

Corrine - have you seen the books, Pug Shots or Pugnation by Jim Dratfield? I was looking through it again the other day and thought his comments are the same times and comments of plays on words that you delight us with.

Someone has the “toots” this a.m. and I don’t know which so I’m ready to throw them all out - this room isn’t big enough!

As everybody knows, I loooooove my OBP calendar!

And Huckle, I’ve seen Jim Dratfield’s books, and I just love them. I have Pug Shots, and I have my special “Pug Display Place” where I keep my pug books, in between my pug bookends, and surrounded with pug stuffed animals and figurines! Sometimes I think of it as my pug shrine : ) Everybody who knows me, knows I’m a pugaholic.

Great news about the calendars. My calendar is ready to be put up by my computer. I need a big calendar to write all my activities on, but this OBP calendar is special for my computer.

Huckle, you must give some serious thought to writing a book. You are very good at giving excellent images of your crew. Please let me know when it hits book stores as I will be there pronto to buy one.

My OBP calendar is going up in my office cube so that anyone who stops in and admires it (which of course they will do) will be bombarded with my “lecture” about how wonderful pugs are, what a great website OBP is, and the joy of adopting a rescue pug.

I love my calander I am putting it up right next to my computer desk and I think that is great raising that much money for pug rescues they always need funds to help take care of the pugs coming in I volenteer with pug rescue of florida and we have 104 pugs in our rescue they are all looking for forever loving homes

Huckle you are so funny I love hearing about them and what they are up to I also think you and Corrine should write a book
