Great picture.  Instead of “it’s raining men”...it’s raining kibble! smile

Pug Mama, our prayers and good thoughts are still coming for Abby.

FYI everybody:  another pet food recall.  Ugh…Annabelles’ food is on list.  Here is the link:  http://www.iams.com/iams/en_US/data_root/html/recall_message.html

Andi, check out the following for premium dog food:

wellnesspetfood.com
halopet.com
canidae.com
bluebuff.com

All natural ingredients, with NOTHING artificial.  They cost more but are well worth it.  I have had my furbabies on Wellness for several years and they do really great on it.

What a fun game!!!!  Raining dogfood, what could be better for 3 munching pugs?

Abby is doing ok.  Taking her back to my mom’s house with mom’s central air has made her a little more comfy.  So many meds now, though.  I had to buy pill boxes to keep track of everything she is currently being prescribed.  And, I think she figured out the secret of the pill pockets, so I stopped at the grocery store to get some liver sausage stuff, I say ick, but I am sure she will think it is a delicacy!

Sue VDB,  thanks for the info.  the food annabelle is on is the iams vet formula skin & coat k/o.  it is a kangaroo meat based food.  She has such terrible food allergies that I now need to find another kangaroo or rabbit meat based food that doesn’t contain certain wheats, grains or flours. It’s proving to be a little diffficult so far.  wish me luck! smile

Andi, Wellness doesn’t have kangaroo or rabbit based foods, but check out the entire website.  You can even email them with your concerns and maybe you can find something that will help your baby with her food allergies. I know they do have a grain free diet, but no kangaroo either.  And definitely good luck.

Now I know why the dog food area is always so clean! I put it in the dishes and they are sparklin clean when I turn back around.

When I saw the antic for today, I couldn’t wait to click into the page!!  Hope your puggies do a better job cleaning your floor than my C.J. and Toeby do!  They mostly just leave a lot of slobbery marks but they do a bang up job of cleaning up the Cheerios!

This picture was so funny and I decided to try the same with Cheerios.  They fell for it and had a licking good time.

Andi - On the food angle, I changed Abby’s food to a raw frozen diet by Nature’s Variety mixed either with either Wellness Core or Blue Buffalo Wilderness duck that is grain free.  I had been using Wellness canned food but after Abby’s last trip to the vet, he recommended I try the frozen diet for her allergies.  This is all a bit pricey, especially that we now have two more pugs, but I would do anything I could to insure they all have the healthiest life I can provide and I feel it is well worth it.  We just cut back in other areas.  I don’t know whether any of that would be of help to you but you might investigate.  Does it have to be kangaroo or rabbit based?
