Down

Henry and the downed

Henry is more than happy to show how Fay knocked over our very top heavy Bougainvillea.  So far, other than that, a few million pine needles everywhere and having to drain the pool all is OK.

Have a great weekend everyone!  For those who like to check in on the weekends and miss not having anything new, I have decided to start posting something from the archives on Saturdays.  I figured after almost 4 years of blogging I have plenty of posts and I can re-share some of the older ones.  I would post something new, but I am afraid I would run out of things to talk about going to 6 days a week. grin

Glad to hear Fay has passed and you and your family are safe, but the clean up can be a pain.  Love Henry’s expression, he looks so serious!!
Lovely day here in NS, temp is cooler, but it usually is this time of year.
Have great weekend everyone,  pugs & wishes to all!!

Henry is so sweet! Sorry your bougainvillea was knocked down, but good that nothing worse happened. We’re just bracing for the rains here in Tallahassee. Schools are out but work is not! :( I at least got Angus to go out for a long bit this morning. He will make himself sick rather than go when it’s raining…<sigh> Have a nice weekend all! smile

Yeah, one more day of OBP.  Thanks a million, that just made my day.  Glad to hear you have not sustained much damage, and most of all you are safe.  Kisses to you Henry for showing us Bougainvillea.  Have a good weekend everyone, and a special greeting to Christina and Sleigbelle.

Glad you didn’t have any damage to the house.  But it’s still a lot of work with the pool and getting the tree back on it’s “feet”.  Henry looks like he might help though.

That’s good news about posting some older posts on Saturdays.  You’re recycling them, which is very green of you : )

Glad you all weathered the storm… grin and I’m excited to have a puggy update to look forward to on Saturdays, now…  thanks OBP!

Wow, I’ll bet the pugs will be very curious about the drained pool.

I’m glad to hear things are ok there.  I thought about you as I saw how long she stalled and kept y’all on her backside.  When I got up and checked in she was centered about 40 miles SW of my trailer, but has weakened and picked up speed.  Now, if she’ll just stay true to the prediction and not veer off into the gulf again when she cuts across to the panhandle.  Ya know with the projected path as it is, she’ll technically hit FL 4 times, and yes, pass right over that big bullseye in Apalachicola where I grew up. lol

We really appreciate your posting a Sat. edition, OBP.  I’m sure there are many like me that haven’t been around here all that long and will be seeing the old posts as new ones.

Have a great weekend y’all!

Henry looks happy that mom realizes HE didn’t knock over the plant; that mean, bad Fay did it!
I’m excited about the weekend “repeats”.  Being fairly new to OBP, I will enjoy reading the old blogs…which will be new to me!
Happy Pug Days everyone!

Adorable Henry!

We’re getting Faye right now…well, later this evening according to the news. We could use the rain but I really hope we don’t have to drive in it at all.

Ooo -be careful of that Bougainvillea - they have very sharp needles! We just cut one back at our place and got cut up by it. I keep the pugs away from it - it’s like barb wire.
Happy weekend to Henry, Benny, Luna and OBP!
Cool - we will certainly be checking in!

OBP, I’m so glad that’s all the damage Henry has to show us!  Sounds like nuthin’ but nasty weather with Fay!  Scary!

Old stuff is good for me cuz I just tuned in recently and I’d love to catch up on stuff I’ve missed.  Everything you post is good, I never get tired or bored!  I love it all!

I was really getting concerned OBP.  I didn’t get any of the responses until 4:15 p.m. CDT.  I figured your electricity was off and was concerned about you and the pugs.

I’m glad Fay didn’t ruin anything worse than that! Henry is so cute and looks like a pug model, he is posed so well! My Mushu models just like that all the time! =D

Sorry for not approving the comments earlier. I was away from my computer all day and didn’t have a chance to read everything until late afternoon.  I may be a little slower than usual until Monday afternoon.

LOL Martha - Recycling posts and going green!  Got to do my part.

Best of luck to all those who Fay will visit next.
