I Spy

Benjamin

With the hot weather here in FL, the barking out the door business at all who pass has been kinda slow for the pugs. Usually, there is a steady stream of walkers, bikers and dogs in the evenings that pass by the house. But, most of the people usually out and about have been opting for cooler temperatures indoors. Which means the pugs have more time in between barks to rest their heads. And that is a very dangerous thing, because before you know it the barking has been replaced by snoring. And then, people are passing by the house without being barked at. Which leads the diehard walkers, willing to brave the insane humidity, to ask me when they see me out, "Where are those pugs?" And what can I say? "Uh...they fell asleep waiting for you."

Too hot in central Texas, too. Yesterday was the first day since the first of August that it didnt get to 100. Thunderstorms came through yesterday and the night before, so we will pay for it today with the humidity.

Sounds to me that your pugs have a Fan Club, whose members look forward to seeing them when they pass by your house!  Try to stay alert, Benjamin, Henry and Luna!  Your fans await!

Corrine, whenever you get asked about them, tell everyone to log on here to catch up on all the latest!

Oh, Benny!  You’re a doll!  I don’t blame you for being sleepy…It’s been hot and humid here too and I can’t take C.J. and Toeby for their walk either.  C.J. just sits and stares at me with his “What gives?” little smooshy face and I just have to say “Sorry, too hot to walk!”

We knew the OBP fan club was very active, but who new the neighborhood fan club existed.  Evidently the neighbors watch the pugs as they go by and miss them.

Benny looks like he just wants to be left alone to sleep.

Heather, hope your back is improving.  Been there, done that, so I know how miserable it can be.

Pug Mama - ***wonderful*** news about Abby!!!  So very happy to hear she is back to her peppy self!  YAY!

Sue VDB, thank you so much.  I never knew how awful back issues could be…It’s been quite an experience and the pills they gave me make me want to zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…right along with Baby Benny!  Thanks for your thoughts, I do appreciate it!  grin

Benny - I wish to squish your wrinkles!  Smoooooooooch.

Heather - hope you are feeling better and not so sleepy either.  When I’ve had back problems, even the movement of a finger seems to hurt.  Hope you are on the mend.

Georgie hasn’t snapped at Cooper today, so that’s good news. The pottying is not.  How can one dog have so much poo in him?  We may have to crate him but that’s a last resort.
