Pug Sized

Benjamin

People in the neighborhood always laugh at the little fire hydrant statue we have in the yard. We found it at a concrete art type place and when we bought it it was a plain cement color. Having three dogs, we thought it would be cool, to paint it a fun color and use it as a yard decoration. It would be even neater if the pugs actually started using it like they do all the other fire hydrants in the neighborhood. But, wouldn't you know they never use it! They pee on pretty much everything else in the yard, but their own personal, pug sized fire hydrant? Nope, never once have they peed on that.

That is TOO funny… they do not pee on it!!  Because yes, Mr. S pees on everything, pretty much!!
It is a cute lawn ornament!

Wrong color - needs to be red!  smile  Love the shot - how cute!

Maybe they would like a little Privacy Fence around it.  But, they probably know if they “tag” it as their potty place - there will soon be all the neighborhood walkers-by (4-legged).  It could quickly get out of hand in your yard.

Benny kind of looks like he’s waiting for a bus.

So so funny that they don’t pee on it.  Their personal hydrant is much too cute to pee on, I think that’s it.

Benjamin, you do look like a distinguished business man waiting for the bus…LOL…good one Mary.  Kiss to you handsome!

Well then, we might as well forget the pug sized chairs, because they will never sit in them!!! lol….give them their own and they always want ours!!!!

Let us not forget pugs are big dogs in little dog bodies! Proto seems to enjoy car tires- have you tried those yet? or should I say Snow-Tires? YES ITS SNOWING AGAIN!!! Was just getting use to seeing the yard again, too!! Pug-hugs to all from the snow bound Colorado 5

Sue S, Baxter *insists* on pee’ing on my car tires every time he walks by, often more than once on the same tire!  What’s up with that?!

Martha

I think it’s because they know it’s already clear to the world that this fire hydrant is “theirs”.  The ones encountered on walks must be “claimed as theirs” by peeing : )

I think Benny is trying to hide but has some overlap here and there.  Maybe if it were red that hydrant might get more use.

prolly not enough news from the neighborhood on it, to make it worthy of being peed on…..

OK Colorado 5…you just keep that white stuff and do not send it East!

As far as the car tires go, do you mean us put sand or something in them and let them dig?  Sounds like that might be a good idea.

Now remember, Sue, keep your snow.

They are simply supporting the arts by choosing not to pee on it!  C.J. and Toeby have never, ever, not once peed on a real fire hydrant!

hi Huckle, Am doing my best to keep snow here in the rockies- another snow advisory in effect-right now it’s rain-will turn to snow. I have had fleeting glimpses of the yard-Solsie seems to think snow is what to pee on-finally she is going without the snow- I am sure the next storm will confuse her again!! Hope all have a great Monday in OBP Land! Pug-hugs from the Colorado 5

plant flowers around it. trust me… they’ll pee on it then if only to have an excuse to tramp on your landscaping.  at least that is what my pug would do.

tracy, good point…C.J. and Toeby have destroyed my iris plants already…the flowers are laying over on the ground!
