Stunned

Benjamin

See that dark line on the sidewalk? That is a caterpillar that Benny rudely stepped on while we were on a walk. I saw the caterpillar as we approached it and I tried to warn Benny, but it was too late and he trounced right on it.

At first the caterpillar curled up in a little ball and I thought it was over for the little guy, but while waiting for one of the pugs to go potty, the little caterpillar uncurled and went on his way. Whoosh!

So, I thought the most appropriate thing to do was have Benny pose for a picture with the caterpillar that he nearly killed.

I like how he poses so nicely with the caterpillar.  My Jack Russell, Henry, would have eaten it right up and my Pug, Gracie Girl, would have acted like she could care less.

Baby Benny must have felt quite a squish under his adorable paws!

OMG!  I saw the dark line BEHIND Benny (his leash, folks!) and thought THAT was the caterpillar at first!!!  My first thought was:  Florida really grows some big-a** crawlies!!!  The feller in front of Benny is much more like it.  I maybe need to get my eyes tested again.

Benny, are you a little reluctant to pose with the near catastropy?  You are sitting nicely but seem to be not too happy about it.

mary, you’re not the only one that needs an eye check!  LMAO!

Benny, I’m so glad that you stepped lightly so as not to crush the little guy!  I love caterpillars!!!

Oh Goodness Benny.. gotta watch out where you’re walking!!
Catapillar must be quite resilient, to curl up , then uncurl and proceed on his way!

Definitely would have been pug food.  Ruby digs for crickets in the grass, and Max sits and waits for me to knock tomato worms off the plants so he can eat them (ewwwww!).  He also slurps worms up off the patio after it rains.  Skywalker the cat loves to catch and eat flies.  Extra protein all around ROFL!

I always thought tomato worms were toxic like the plant…very interesting, Dances.

I am rattling enjoyed for this broadside. Its a respectable topic. Its chance are so extraordinary and employed style so fast. I anticipate it may be amend all of you.filled with the emotional impact of overwhelming surprise or shock; “an amazed audience gave the magician a standing ovation”; “I stood enthralled, astonished by the vastness and majesty of the cathedral”; “astounded viewers wept at the pictures from the Oklahoma City bombing”; “stood in stunned silence”; “stunned scientists found not one but at least three viruses”
