The boys of summer like to hang out in the shade! It has even been too hot for Henry and Henry absolutely loves the sun.
I feel bad for the pugs because our walks have been so short. One quick jaunt early in the morning and then one short walk in the evening. And sometimes our evening walks get rained out. But, I don't think the pugs mind too much because as soon as they step paw outside the door their urge to walk quickly fades.

Henry seems to be moping because he can’t lay out in the sun…poor Henry. Hang in there pugs, the weather will change before you know it.

Will pray for cooler weather for the boys! Tried to send an update last week so will include today. Thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts but just as we thought all was over, Ms.Beauty suprised us on Thursday with 2 additional puppies-one was a still birth, but the other was a live birth and we named her Miracle-for she truly was a miracle-she didn’t make it through the night but for us she will a true miracle! Susan, my heart hurts. Poor Beauty having to go through that all over again. I am so sorry. How is she doing? Praying for healing all the way around.

Oh Susan, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what to say. It just hurts too much and I can’t see the keyboard right now. Sometimes the unanswerable keeps wondering why. Is Beauty ok? That poor little mommy. Give her some gentle kisses from the Swamp Pugs.

Toby had his birthday party on sunday the whole gang got a cup cake then Igave Toby his two new stuffed toys and then they got to go into there pool Toby has this green frog he has had since he was a puppy its in pretty ruff shape so I got him a new one well Toby wont give up on his old one he ignores the new one
sue, I know how that goes. Bo Peep had one teddy bear given to her as a puppy. She loved it and if I tried to replace it, she would have nothing to do with any others. I performed so many surguries on Teddy that it didn’t even look like a bear, even putting a new patch on it because it was absoslutely threadbare, and she would not touch that part of her Teddy.
sue - Toby is a little stinker. A belated Happy Birthday to him. Maybe you could get the new toys dirty or leave them out in the rain until Toby accepts them. Sounds silly, I know, but maybe that type of thing would work.
Huckle, sounds like a good idea, but if Toby is like my Bo Peep, that would not do it, and he would probably give Mama “the look”.
