Happy Halloween from the Scrabble Pugs! We love scrabble and play it regularly and since each one of the pugs' names are valid Scrabble words* we couldn't resist dressing the pugs up as Scrabble boards and adding their names as Scrabble letters.
So we pitched our idea to Grammy and she whipped up these awesome costumes for the pugs.
Happy Halloween!
* Benjamin is not a valid Scrabble word, but Benny is.
I can not express to you how much Henry loves to bask in the sun. It is not uncommon to find Henry sprawled out in the yard like this soaking up every beam of sun he can find. He sure does make himself comfortable in the process of catching his rays.
Last weekend there was a little bit of a chill in the air in the early morning. Benjamin and Luna were snuggled up in their blanket while we played our early morning Scrabble game. Luckily, we had a nice mug of hot tea to keep us warm. Blankets in this house are pretty hard to come by. The pugs are always commandeering them.
Six. That is the number of dog beds that we took on vacation with us. Crazy. I know.
We filled the backseat legroom with dog beds and put a few beds on the backseat itself. That way the backseat was extended and very cozy for the long drive.
Once we arrived we spread the dog beds around the cabin, putting them in strategic locations where we thought the pugs would want to lay. But, wouldn't you know it, the pugs weren't that interested in the dog beds we brought. When relaxing, they preferred to use the human bed.
Luna has never been one for stairs and much to her chagrin the cabin we rented for our vacation had plenty of stairs. But, after the first day the little girl came up with a clever way to avoid the stairs.
Luna was quite fascinated by this little tree that she stumbled upon while we were on one of our morning walks.
She walked right up the rock, turned around and peed right on top of the little tree. Then she ran off to her brothers to tell them that she just peed on top of a tree. Top that boys!
