Fetch

When Benjamin and Henry were puppies, I worked really hard to get them to play fetch.  Despite my efforts, neither one ever took to the game.  Luna isn’t much of a fetcher either.  I have always wanted a dog that was always up for a good game of fetch.

Sock Thief

It is not uncommon to end up missing a sock in our house.  If the dryer doesn’t eat your sock, Henry surely will.  Henry will snag your sock and run around the house with it every chance he gets.

It is a good thing that socks come in pairs because as soon as Henry finds a sock for himself, Benjamin always wants one as well.

Did someone say bacon?

Benjamin hates salads, but he loves bacon.  Bacon is definitely not a part of his diet, so I am not sure how he knows he loves it so much, but when it comes to food he just has a nose for those things.  Unfortunately, no matter how hard he tried and how long he stared at it, Benny was not able to will the bacon to him using his patented food pout.

Are you gonna pet me?

After snapping a couple pictures of Henry grazing in the yard, Henry was adamant that I spend some time petting him. He parked himself at my feet and just gazed at me with that classic Henry look. I of course complied and spent some time in the yard petting him. It lasted about 5 minutes. After that we were both too hot and had to go inside to cool down.

Puppy Pictures

We were looking through the photo albums this weekend and we came across some adorable pics of the boys when they were puppies.  Here are some of my favorites.

This is a shot of the boys anxiously looking to see where everyone went.  We were visiting family when this shot was taken.  The boys are about a year old here and to me what is the funniest thing is that Benjamin is almost as tall as Henry.  Now that they are fully grown, Henry towers over Ben.

This shot was taken in Ocean City, MD.  We decided to take the boys to the beach for a day trip.  While walking on the boardwalk, we passed by a sign for Red Dog and of course could not resist making the boys pose next to a sign marked dog.  To complete his beach look, Benjamin is wearing an infant muscle tee.

Here is a shot of the boys sleeping in their toy basket at about 12 weeks old.  Before we brought the boys home, we went out and bought them a nice, lined wicker toy basket and filled it with toys.  We were young and naive because the boys had the toy box completely chewed in about one morning.  I guess we weren’t really thinking like a puppy when we bought the basket!

This is Baby Benny at about 12 weeks old.  When he was truly Baby Benny.

Luna’s New Sundress

We saw this sundress in the store and we just had to get it for Luna.  It is a pretty good fit and she just loves to prance around the house wearing it.  Here she is in the yard playing in her new dress.
