Mommy Said Stay

If it wasn’t for the continuous shooting mode on my camera getting group shots of the pugs would be a lot harder.  When we take pictures of Benjamin, Henry & Luna posed in front of things, like the new flower pots, as soon as they are sorta in place I just start shooting and I fire off as many shots as possible before someone moves too far out of place.  This means I end up with tons of photos.  I think I had around 85 pictures for the flower pot shoot.  Most of these pictures aren’t the greatest because one of the pugs is looking away or one of them has their eyes closed or someone, Luna, has simply walked away.  But it always amuses me when I flip through iPhoto quickly.  It is like a little flip book of the pugs posing.

I wanted to share, so I created a little video.  Enjoy.

p.s. - Sorry for no photo to go along with yesterday’s raffle post.  I will do my best to make it up to you grin

That’s very fun! I start my day with your site every morning and check in throughout the day for updates or just to see a beautiful pugshot. Thanks for the smiles grin

Ha…this is precious…I love Luna’s tongue in the beginning…in and out to the music.  I wish my camera shot like that.  Riley is like Luna - escaping every time I try and grab a shot of him!

Thank you for our daily fix of the trio…all day yesterday, something just didn’t feel right!  grin

That is very funny. I loved it!  I was wondering how you got so many great shots.  Guess I’ll have to trade in my digital camera for a 35mm if I want to get that “wow” factor in my Pug Pics.

I see you put a lot of work in getting the right photos of your darlings. It must be quite a challenge to get all these puggies in just the right pose.  My morning does not get off to a good start until I see these precious babies - well second good start after my puggy of course.

This is so cute!  You’ve always said Luna’s the wiggle-worm, and now we see how true that is.

What kind of camera did you say that you had?

My main camera is a Canon PowerShot S2 IS.  It is a few years old and a new model has since been released, but I have stuck with this one.  It isn’t a DSLR or anything fancy like that.  What I like most about it is that is has a good zoom and the continuous shooting mode which on this camera lets me take 2.4 fps.  Which is how I got the shots for the video.  Basically, it just takes pictures one right after the other and I can get about 2 pictures per second.  I also use an ultra memory card that is supposed to save the pictures faster so I can take full advantage of the continuous shooting mode.  I’ve had this camera for about 3 years now and I love it!

That is too funny!  C.J. and Toeby are NEVER cooperative when it comes to picture taking but I’m so glad your little “WILD THING” puggies are for you!  This gave me a great belly laugh for the morning.  Thanks for sharing!

OMGosh!  I love the first section, where Luna looks like she’s dancing!  You did a fabulous job picking the music.  The whole thing is great…just one prob OBP.  Can we say….TOO SHORT!  lol

I know, you wanted to do a quickie to show us, but we expect a longer version somewhere down the road. lol @ Luna & the Tone Pugs. But how bout switching it a bit to Luna & the Pugtones? lol Cool Dee.

Too much!

Oh, tonight we are taking the guys to an outdoor concert in the park.  It’s a tribute to Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons.  I just hope the pugs don’t decide to sing along. lol

OMG!!  I watched this at work but I didnt have sound,  at home I do and this is so great.
Have you thought about being a sound / video mixer grin  The Pugami Vice team can really “get down” to business.

Just got back from the concert and I gotta tell ya the guys were on their best behavior!  They didn’t bark, even when barked at, and they had the charm alarm turned up high!  And only once did Rascal sing along, but I couldn’t hear him. He was sitting in my lap facing the stage and I only saw his head turn up to the sky when the lead guys was doing some falsetto stuff.  And no one turned around to look, so he must have been on key! lol We are going back tomorrow night….with mosquitoe spray though :-(
