The Deatricks in Bolingbrook, Illinois are asking anyone that may have information on their missing pug, Pixie, to contact the Bolingbrook police or Crimestoppers. Pixie was stolen from the family’s home along with other personal belongings during a robbery last week.
Pixie is a year and a half old and is fawn color. The family is offering a $4500 reward or Pixie’s safe return.
Great News! Pixie has been reunited with her family.

That is so awesome the she got returned safely. The story brought me to tears as we had a friend who was staying at our house dog sitting our 6mo. Pug Pumba while we were on vacation for three days and he lost her. We tried everything to get her back and we had absolutely no luck and are still pretty hurt. But to know that someone had a happy ending is just inspiring and gives me hope that one day we will find Pumba.
I was SO exicted when I heard that Pixie was returned to her owners. Having a pug or any kind of dog is like having a child. I prayed for Pixie’s return and I’m happy to kow she’s safe back home. Having a pug myself I can’t even imagine what the family was going through. I don’t know what I’d do if anything ever happened to my Lucy. Good Luck with everything and give Pixie LOTS of kisses!!
My eyes are filled with tears as I read the story and am so glad that Pixie is home safe and sound. I’m also filled with sadness by Stephanie’s comment posted on 04-04-07. I can’t believe that happened to you. I don’t know what I would do if that were me (or what I would do to my friend). I hope you find Pumba. I’ll pray for Pumba’s safe return home.

Pixie was found and returned to her owners last Friday evening, March 30th. The article in the local paper quoted the owner as saying Pixie is successfully readjusting to life back at home. Pixie also received numerous gifts that neighbors brought over to celebrate her safe return.
