Pug Tattoo Tributes

The April Issue of Bark magazine features an article titled Indelible Dogs by Lisa Wogan.  In the article, Wogan shows some tattoos that were inspired by lovable canine companions.  Not surprisingly, some of those tatts were inspired by pugs.  You can see two incredible pug tattoos on the Bark blog.

Do you have any ink honoring your pug?

I don’t have any tatts, but I have a wide range of pug-featured items:  sweater, t-shirt, picture frame, purses, mugs, shot glass, note cards, bookmarks, shower poof, cosmetic cases, figurines, etc. And my refrigerator is covered with pictures of pugs used in print ads that are held in place by pug magnets.  Not only am I OBP I am surrounded by them.

I do! It needs some touch up and I plan on adding to it and adding my other puglet’s name Frankie. I already know that when my older guy passes on to rainbow bridge that I will be getting his face done on me!

I will submit the picture via the daily pic

In May of ‘99 I had a pug named Sio Lang Hi. He was a beautiful boy who’s life was cut drastically short before he could truly live a dog’s life. He was only six months old…

On my right ankle I have his paw tattooed with his name and the date he passed.

It was a tragic day when we had to put him down. Watching his tail uncurl was absolutely heartbreaking. He had been hit by a car in front of our house, and the injuries he sustained were too severe for him to have had a good quality of life.

I miss him dearly, but he’ll always be at my side.

What say you?
