The AKC recently released their annual breed registration statistics and while the Pug came in 14th overall in 2007, the pug breed was the fourth most registered dog in Portland, Oregon. That ranking is higher than any other of the 50 U.S cities that the AKC provided rankings for. So, a big woof to all those pugs out there in Portland!
