Sol has mastered the sit command, so we have started teaching her "leave it" because that is a completely foreign concept to her. We have completed a few training sessions so far and they have gone really well.
We cover the treat with our hand, to indicate "leave it" and then we tap twice next to the treat to let her know when it is OK to "take it".
Here is a little video of a training session. There are a few sits in there as well.
This picture for this week's Caption This is from the archives of my photo library. The photo was originally taken in June 2003 when Benjamin was a little over a year old. At the time, we were still living in MD, but we were in FL on vacation.
Weekends when I find time to take a nap are few and far between, but there is nothing I like better than a nap. And the best part is the pugs are always up for nice, long nap.
Sol never tires of belly rubbings. And for those wondering about my little experiment, Sue VDB hit the nail right on the head, I tired long before Henry or Sol did.
