Pug lover Martha wrote in to ask if I could pose a question to all the pug lovers out there. She was wondering how you handle visitors at the house. Does your pug behave when visitors come over? If so, how did you train them to behave so nicely? Does your pug get overcome with excitement when a visitor comes over? How do you convince your pug that the visitor is not just there to see them?
Thanks for helping us out. We are looking forward to your replies.

The official “doneness” tester. He is, after all, a noodle aficionado!

Well, it obvious from this photo that the boys have finally recognized Luna’s “Princess” status. While the boys are little “Princes” they have allowed their sweet baby sister to have the pillow throne for this photo. If Princess Luna could only remember to be humble with her calling it would probably go over better with the commoners. She is very much of an alpha Princess.

This is little Luna in a pre-sneeze position. While she is the wiggliest of all the pugs, I am still amazed that some of her photos can come out clear. And if a sneeze is over in like a second, how can I seem to capture that split second before yet when she is sleeping or otherwise laying still she finds a way to ruin a perfectly clear photo. Bless you, my pug.
And Happy Birthday, G-Ma!

Just look how she struts by with so much confidence. Looking forward to your captions in the comments.

Benjamin is a resourceful little guy. Usually we keep a couple of throws on the sofa for the pugs to bundle up in, but they must have been in the wash (getting off all the pug cheese) when Baby Benny must have gotten chilly and resorted to using a pillow for a blanket instead. He should have just hugged up to Luna because she is like a walking electric blanket. She is always the warmest in the house but the first to get cold, too. Go figure.

I find it amusing that Henry & Luna like to lay together on the runner at the entrance to the front of the house. What is even more funny, though, is that that little carpet is called a runner. Hmm…runners, no, those pugs don’t even like joggers or walkers, let alone runners here. Do they have any furniture or accessories called lazy dogs sleeping? Perhaps we should incorporate a Lazy Boy recliner for the pugs.
