It’s Back!

Good news for the pugs - Pumpkin bread is back at Bob Evans! We brought home a special loaf to share with the pugs and they were so excited I couldn't torment them by making them pose for pictures. Let's just say it went a little like this.

But, I think the surprise of the day was when Cupid showed interest in the pumpkin bread. She didn't actually eat any, but she did spend a good 5 minutes licking the crust. It's official. She has been hanging around the pugs way too much!

Heather you took the words right out of my mouth…Cupid is OBP also.  Such a cute picture.  Before you know it the pugs will have to share with Cupid.  Wonder how that will go down with them.  Cupid, welcome to the club.

Sue VDB, love how you welcomed Cupid to the club, *giggle*.  This is one club I’m proud to be a member of!!!  If it wasn’t for being OBP, I’d be certifiably insane, no doubt!  LOL

Oh dear!  If her nose starts to have that ‘special stink’ you are going to be in a world of hurt!  Her new name is now Cupug.

Cupug indeed!  How great is that?!  And I LUV-LUV-LUV how well-trained the trio is about waiting to goggle their treats all-together.  Considering they ARE pugs, after all and eating is like breathing to them - this is no mean feat, Corrine.  A total BRAVO-BRAVISIMA to all!  I’m going to commence working with Bella tonight!  Wonder:  does it work in reverse - with Benny having to wait the longest?  He really washed up the table after.

Cupid is now a cupug! I love it. So funny. And I love the waiting for their bread. My favorite part is how Luna’s tail is wagging. I love it!

It is chilly and rainy this morning and I LOVE IT!!! Bring on fall! And no better way to do that then with pugkin bread!

GINA:  Greetings from another Fall-Fancier.  Both Bella and I had more spring to our steps this a.m. going for our potty-walk (hers - not mine).  Can actually take a deep breath and not gag on the soupy humidity.  I’m not in any hurry for snow and slippage, but do LOVE these cool, crisp days.  No rain yet for IA - but should arrive sometime today/tomorrow.

Mary ~ I just absolutely love this time of year. Love it! I’m cold and I love it. It was raining this morning and now it’s just a little overcast and windy. And I love it! I’m crazy that way! The fall boutiques are starting and it’s time for long sleeves and socks! Hooray! Tonight’s low is supposed to be in the high 30’s! Hooray! Okay, enough of the weather! What part of IA do you hail from? smile

Of course Cupid is interested in the pugkin bread-it smells just like the breath of her beloved canine siblings after they have eaten pugkin bread smile

GINA:  I live in in Fort Dodge, referred to, fondly, as Fat Dog or “Dirty” by the “natives”.  It’s about 90 miles NW of Des Moines.  You hail from Lincoln or Omaha don’t you?

Can we see a close up of the paintings on the wall in the background?

Omg, i love the video!!! What restraint they all show.  I especially love Benny cleaning the table up.  No crumb left unturned lol.  Lilo would do the exact same thing.  I will have to look and see if they have pumpkin bread up here, other than that which is homemade.  Hope everyone is having a wonderful week…......and i am not loving this cold…. my dang furnace is kicking in already.  It was off the other morning and i woke up and it was 59 degrees in here.  Had i not had my little heater pug sleeping with me i’d have had icicles at the end of my nose lol.
