Mizrahi, Celebrity Jeopardy and the ASPCA

Isaac Mizrahi will appear on Celebrity Jeopardy on Wednesday, November 14th.  Mizrahi has chosen the ASPCA as his charity and that means the ASPCA will be receiving at least $25,000.  If Mizrahi wins the evening’s competition the ASPCA will receive $50,000.  So check out Celebrity Jeopardy and see how Isaac and the ASPCA fare.

PugsGiving 2006

Pug Rescue of Florida and Central Florida Pug Rescue are holding their 5th Annual PugsGiving event on November 18, 2006 from 10am until 3pm in Lakeland, FL.  Admission to the event is free and there will be plenty of games, contests and raffles.  PugsGiving is a great chance to meet plenty of pugs and other pug lovers and, best of all, all proceeds from the event benefit pug rescue!

Pug on Off the Leash

Lifetime’s new show Off the Leash which follows 7 canine clients at the Le Paws pet-talent agency in Hollywood features a pug.  Boo, the pug, is doing whatever it takes to get a big break.  You can watch Boo and the rest of the dogs on Off the Leash on Mondays at 6:30PM on Lifetime.

Not likely Delaware will name pug as state dog

In May, lawmakers in Delaware introduced a bill that would name the pug as the state’s official dog.  Unfortunately, for pug lovers, it’s not likely the bill will pass.  However, that does not mean there is any shortage of pug lovers in Delaware.  Here is an interesting article explaining the many joys of pug ownership from some Delaware residents.
