Blooper

Luna

I'm not exactly sure what Luna is doing in this picture. Looks like she is sorta licking and barking at the same time. Taking pictures in rapid succession is good for action shots and it is also great at catching people and pugs in awkward positions. grin

Have a great weekend!

Tiny Toon

Luna

The little gray lady keeping an eye on her brothers. The funny thing is the boys try and one up each other and be the last to pee on something around the yard. But, Luna always wins that game. She patiently waits for the boys and then struts over and pees on whatever had caught the boys' interest last. She always wins. The boys have pretty much given up and know they will never win against the little alpha female grin

Another Note From Auntie M

The first thing I do when I get home from work is look at the "pet care update sheet" to read the blurbs about my children's day. I always get a kick out of reading the comments from the pet sitter of the day. On this day, in the comments about my day column, Auntie M wrote about Benny, "5 stars (actually 4 1/2 because he almost peed on Henry marking the fence!)" For Henry, she offered, "4 stars. Minus one because we all had to wait for him in the sun extra long for him to poop. LOL" And by now, we are sensing a pattern that little Luna is the favorite with this comment, "5 stars because she is a princess!" And even Cupid got a "5 star" rating. After all the commentary, Auntie M completed the update with, "Everyone is actually 5 stars today. I just like teasing the boys! grin"

The thing about Auntie M, that we appreciate more than words can say, is that she really loves our family. Beyond that she is trustworthy, dependable and "gets" us. She has helped our family get through this transition with relative ease. Granted, Henry had a little bit of a rocky couple of first days, but now things are in a super new routine and it really would not have been as easy without her help and support.

Auntie M is a little more lenient with her star ratings, too. If I busted Benny for almost peeing on Henry, no way would have earned 4 1/2 to 5 stars. That would have been a 3 star day maximum. Hahaha!

Talk to Me

Henry

The pugs are so used to me taking pictures of them that they pretty much ignore me when I have the camera out. So, sometimes, the difference between a picture like the one above where Henry is like whatever and the one below where Henry is engaged in what is going on is a simple question.

Henry

"Are you hungry?"

It's funny, I don't know how many times I have asked that question in the last 9 years, but never have the pugs answered, "Nah, not really." I always get an emphatic YES!

Making Friends

Benjamin

The ballpark was full of dogs and fans last friday night. All the dogs were super friendly and the pugs wanted to meet them all. So needless to say there was reaching across the aisles.

Have a great weekend!

Not Luna This Time

Luna, Benjamin and Henry

The boys have much practice posing for photos and are quite used to the sitting still and knowing the level of expectation when it comes to photo opportunities. Luna, on the other hand is a wiggle worm and tends to ruin many a photogenic moment. In this rare case seen here, Benjamin is the one that makes the picture a mess. I guess he was too bored waiting for everyone else to settle and couldn't contain his yawn. Oh my! Handsome Benjamin ruined the shot! For a change, this time it wasn't Luna who created the blur.
