The Truth About Greenies Blog

There has been much controversy lately about Greenies and if they are safe for dogs. Despite the fact that Greenies has been linked to at least 13 dog deaths the company insists that Greenies are safe for dogs.

In an effort to prove that Greenies are indeed safe, the company has launched a blog on the Truth About Greenies website. The blog is a great place to visit for the latest information released by Greenies about the safety of their products.

PETaPOTTY - A unique way to potty train your pug

If you don’t have a yard or you want a way for your pug to relieve itself while you are out of the house check out PETaPOTTY. The PETaPOTTY is a box made of extruded polyvinyl that holds soiless sod, so your pug can enjoy the feeling of real grass in any environment. PETaPOTTY also has a drainage system that helps prolong the life of the sod and keeps the system sanitary. The removable drip pan also makes the system easy to clean.
The PETaPOTTY sod can last anywhere from 1 to 2 months before it must be changed. Replacement sod can be ordered from PETaPOTTY or if you live in Los Angeles or San Diego County you can take advantage of the PETaPOTTY replacement service where a PETaPOTTY representative will come to your home and clean your system and replace your PETaPOTTY sod.

Pug helps children learn about hurricanes

In 2004, Maddie the pug was vacationing in Florida from Albany, NY visiting her grandmom. Maddie’s vacation was going well until the family heard that hurricane Charley had taken an unexpected turn and was heading for Central Florida. While waiting out the storm the family turned to Dr. Seuss books to help pass the time. This gave Amy Allinson, Maddie’s grandmom, a great idea for a book and she started writing her own book about a hurricane from the viewpoint of a pug. Amy worked closely with her son Matt and her daughter Kate and before long their book was complete.

Their book, entitled Maddie’s Great Adventure is available from Trafford Publishing for $12. Unfortunately, Trafford Publishing does not allow you to directly link to a book, so to view the book’s synopsis and to see some of the book’s illustrations you need to go to the Trafford Publishing home page and then enter the book’s title in the Quick Search box.
