I am having some technical difficulties this morning that makes getting a new picture up a bit of a challenge, so I thought this would be a good time to update everyone on the 2011 Owned by Pugs Calendar.
Calendars are now shipping and as November wrapped up, I did a quick tally and I am happy to report that so far a total of $605 has been raised for the participating pug rescue organizations. The $605 will be divided amongst each of the participating pug rescue organizations based on the rescue group selected when a calendar sale was made.
Thank you for all your support and kind words about the calendar. I hope you enjoy it throughout 2011!

I am very happy to announce that the 2011 Owned by Pugs Calendars are now available for pre-order! If you pre-order a calendar it will ship on or about November 23, 2010. For a limited time, calendar sales qualify for free USPS First Class Mail shipping to the US and Canada (Canadian customers if you are charged shipping during checkout please contact me and I will correct it.). If you live outside the US or Canada and would like to purchase a calendar send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and I can provide a shipping estimate for you.
You can find out more about each pug featured in the calendar by browsing the calendar pages. Hover over a picture in the calendar and a small box will popup and give more information about each pug. (Many thanks to G-Ma for helping me put this together).

When I was shooting the pictures of the pugs for the back page of the 2011 calendar, Henry was feeling a little silly and Luna must have thought that she had some lunch left on her nose. I have a series of shots of the little girl licking her nose.
Calendar Update: The 2011 Calendar is currently being printed. I approved the proof earlier in the week and printing is now in full force. I expect the calendars will go on sale starting November 22, 2010. I will send out emails to everyone with a picture in the calendar on or around November 15, 2010.

I know the posts this last week have been short, sweet and to the point. I have a few more in-depth posts planned, but I have been so busy working on the 2011 Calendar that I haven't had time to put them together. So, you might have to settle for a few more days of mainly pictures until I get caught up with the calendar.
Speaking of the 2011 Calendar, I am doing my best to get it to the printer by the end of October. Which means calendars will be available around the middle of November. Once I send the calendar to the printer I will send out an email to everyone with a picture included in the calendar.

Roberta was the lucky ticket holder of the winning raffle ticket in the Sol Painting raffle. The portrait of Sol, painted by Grammy, will be headed to Annapolis, MD. Which, coincidentally, isn't too far from where we used to live in MD. We took the boys to a dog park in Annapolis once and Henry impressed everyone by swimming with the big dogs in the choppy Chesapeake Bay.
Thanks to everyone who entered the raffle. In total we raised $130 for the Sol Sunshine Memorial Fund. Congratulations Roberta. The painting of Sol is headed your way.
Side note: Roberta's pugs, Coco & Beau, are also Today's Featured Pug Picture. So you get to see Solsey's new friends.
