Cliché

Benjamin and Luna

While the pugs were helping us do yard work, the mailman drove past the house and true to the nature of the dog the pugs gave him the what for. I'm not exactly sure why the pugs have the need to bark at the mailman. Often times he brings them goodies in the mail. Apparently, the genetic makeup of dogs has not yet learned of the Internet and all the goodies that can delivered via the postal carrier. I'm sure dogs of the future will love the mailman and anxiously await his arrival. This will probably all happen right around the time dogs get opposable thumbs as well. grin

Justified

Benjamin and Henry

See. This is why we need so many dog beds around here. The pugs need one dog bed for their body and one for their head. Plus, the cat's banana cat nip toy needs a place to rest too. grin

Three little bed hogs all in a row!

Chillin

Henry

It is a bit funny to walk into the living room and find your dog just sitting like this in a chair. I felt like I should offer him a drink or something.

Not, Henry's most flattering angle, but an amusing pose nonetheless.

Have a great weekend!

Hers

Cupid

Remember when Cupid claimed the new dog as her own? She really seemed to like the bed, but I thought to myself, this will never last. She has never really been a dog bed sleeper. Instead she prefers to cuddle up in baskets or pretty much anything with sides.

Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. It has been a few months since we bought the dog bed and Cupid sleeps in it every day. In fact, if she is sleeping you can pretty much bet that she is in the dog bed.

The pugs have used the bed a few times, but for the most part they stay out of it.

Luna and Benjamin

The poor pugs! Since we don't have very many dog beds around here, they don't have any place to sleep! wink

Double Duty

Benjamin and Henry

It is rare to ever find this arm of the couch pugless. The boys love to sit in this spot because they have a clear view out the front door. Even, Luna has been sitting there lately.

Usually, the pugs take turns sitting there. But, lately, the boys have been sharing the spot. So, to anyone that might pass by the house, beware, we have two pugs on guard duty now.

Comfort

Benjamin

You can always count on Benny to make himself as comfortable as possible. Although, his butt might be a little sore after the whooping the Steelers gave the Ravens this weekend. Congrats, Steelers fans. There is always next year, I guess.

Purple

Luna

When we took Luna in for her surgery on Tuesday, it was happenstance that we marked all her spots in purple washable marker. We thought purple would show up the best on her fur and we really wanted the spots we marked to stick out. On a side note, coloring on a dog isn't really that easy. But, it did make me feel like a mischievous toddler.

When we picked Luna up from the vet, she had purple stitches and the vet let us know that they picked purple to specifically match her spots.

There has been a lot of purple power this week and I hope it is a sign the Baltimore Ravens are going to win their next playoff game. I know they do purple Fridays in Baltimore, but Luna took it one step further and got purple stitches to support the team.

5 More Minutes

Henry

Sometimes, in the morning, I am extremely jealous of the pugs. I would love to be able to lay around in bed after the alarm goes off. grin
